Valerie Blandino
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with clients from all walks of life in a therapeutic setting. I received my bachelors from California State University Los Angeles and my Masters degree in Social Work from California State Dominguez Hills with a concentration in Community Mental Health.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked in the private, community, outpatient, school and medical settings providing support to children, families, and adults. I'm experienced working with anxiety, life transitions, grief/loss and survivors of trauma. The clients I support often want to learn how to process feelings of depression and anxiety, and issues related to identity, relationships, and self-esteem.

My clinical approach is eclectic but I lean into narrative therapy, psychodynamic and a person centered approach. As a therapist, it is my goal to create a safe environment where my clients feel comfortable. I strive to support clients in feeling comfortable with me, using a nonjudgmental approach, empathy and a sprinkle of humor. My goal is for you to feel seen and empowered to be the best version of yourself. You are the expert of your life and my role is to give you tools, gentle feedback, and support to grow and reach your therapeutic goals.
